什么是关怀法案?

关怀行动徽章关心行为 is federal legislation that was passed by the United States Congress in March 2020. It provides financial support to individuals and businesses affected by the 新型冠状病毒肺炎 (novel coronavirus) pandemic. Learn more about how WVC is responding to the pandemic at feelinfly.net/PublicHealth.

What if my application is still in process?

Applications being processed as soon as possible. It may take up to two weeks to receive 资金. Results or requests for additional information will be communicated via email or phone.

How will I receive the funds?

Funding will be disbursed using the student’s re资金 preference established with BankMobile. 访问 WVC的BankMobile页面 了解更多信息. 接触WVC’s 金融援助 Office (feelinfly.net/Financial援助) for additional information about establishing your re资金 preference. 如果你 can't find your personal BankMobile code, the financial aid office can help.

To be eligible for funds, students must:

  • Be currently enrolled at WVC
  • 做一个U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen

Some students were  not eligible for CARES I funds, including:

  • 学生 只有 enrolled in continuing education program courses, Adult Basic Education (ABE) courses or English as a Second Language (ESL) courses
  • 学生 who do not have a high school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • DACA students or undocumented students
  • 国际学生

CARES II and CARES III do allow students listed above to be eligible to receive funds.

Maximum amounts vary, generally students may apply for a maximum of $2,100, but may not receive the full amount. 如果你 do not need the full $2,100, please consider applying for 只有 the amount that you need.

No, this fund will not impact or replace financial aid.
